- All dogs must have current shots. Please ensure your dog has the current DHPP, and Bordatella vaccines. (Parvo and Kennel Cough are highly contagious)
- All participating dogs must be a Wiener Dog (if mixed must be at least 1/2 dachshund). Other breeds will not be allowed to participate.
- Owners may bring their dog's favorite toy.
- All dogs MUST be on a leash when on the premises. Leashes will be removed from pets once at the starting line. Upon completion of the heat, dogs are required to be leashed.
- Owners are required to clean up after their dogs.
- Dogs should be on their best behavior (i.e. no fighting or biting).
- Only 2 owners will be allowed in the racetrack area (one at the starting line and one at finish line).
- No waving blankets or large items around the racetrack so as not to scare our babies.
- If entering more than one dog, you need to fill out a form for each dog.
Registration Information
Register your dog by Oct 4 for early bird rate of $15
Prizes will be awarded for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place for the races, costume and talent contest. The races have age categories as follows:
- Cocktail Wieners: 6 weeks old to 9 months old
- Ball Park Franks: 10 months old to 5 years old
- Frankfurters: 5 years old and up.
