Calling all Jr and Sr High School students. The VFW is dedicated to promoting patriotism and investing in our future generation. If you are a democracy-loving high school student interested in a $35,000 college scholarship or a patriotic middle school student interested in winning $5,000, these scholarships may be for you. Membership

The VFW Auxiliary started with a small group of women who wanted to serve veterans. Today, we have nearly 465,000 members representing all 50 states and the District of Columbia. All spouses, parents, grandparents, children, grandchildren and siblings of combat veterans are eligible to join. Our Pahoa Auxiliary now has over 90 members and actively supports active-duty servicemen and women as well as veterans and their families. We are especially active working with the Yukio Okutsu State Veterans Home and the Mental Health Intensive Case Management thru the Veterans Administration.
